Couples & Family Therapy
Connection
Every relationship faces challenges. Stress, parenting, health issues, or major life changes can create tension, misunderstandings, and emotional distance.
Together, we explore what's happening in the relationship, identify the patterns that keep the difficulties going, and build healthier ways to communicate, reconnect, and manage conflict.
- Repeated conflicts, communication difficulties, and emotional distance
- Difficulties related to intimacy, sexuality, infidelity, and rebuilding trust
- The impact of anxiety, depression, trauma, or addiction on the relationship
- Challenges related to parenting and the parent–child relationship
- Major changes in family life — the birth of a child, moving, illness, loss, or separation
- Clarifying decisions about continuing the relationship, separation or divorce, and reorganizing the parental relationship when children are involved
My basic training in Systemic Couple and Family Psychotherapy gives me a perspective on relationships that looks not only at each person individually, but also at the dynamic between partners, among family members, and the context in which relationships develop.
This approach draws on psychosomatics, psychosexology, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), forgiveness therapy, and an understanding of how addiction impacts couples and families.
Sessions can take place individually, with both partners, or, when helpful, together with other family members.
Sessions online and in person
