Somatic Therapy
Somatic Experiencing® is a body-oriented therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Peter A. Levine that helps release trauma and chronic stress. By focusing on bodily sensations rather than just thoughts, it supports nervous system regulation and restores balance between body, mind, and emotions, fostering resilience, vitality, and emotional stability.
Why Somatic Experiencing®
• Prefer a gentle, body-oriented approach
• Talking about trauma feels too difficult
• Struggling with anxiety, stress, tension, or fatigue
• Strong emotional or bodily reactions appear unexpectedly
• Want to reconnect with and listen to your body
• Seeking emotional stability, energy, and resilience
Somatic Experiencing® supports
• Regulate the nervous system and restore balance
• Heal trauma, including PTSD
• Improve sleep, energy, and resilience
• Engage the body as a partner in the healing process
I am actively involved in the Somatic Experiencing® community as an assistant in the SE® Romania training program, providing sessions, guidance, and support to enrolled students.

The body’s capacity to support, regulate, and integrate emotional experience
ISP (Integral Somatic Psychotherapy™) is a somatic approach focused on emotional regulation through working with the body.
Integral Somatic Psychotherapy™ (ISP™), developed by Dr. Raja Selvam, integrates Western and Eastern psychological, somatic, energetic, and spiritual approaches. The ISP™ Professional Training Program is designed to enhance cognitive, emotional, and behavioral outcomes, grounded in research on the physiology of mind and emotion.
By consciously embodying emotions, this method helps make emotional experiences more tolerable, giving the brain time and support to process them. When emotional expression is restricted, the brain finds it harder to process experiences, not just emotionally, but also cognitively and behaviorally.
